2. If you have business cards, include them whenever you leave a tip (i.e. car wash, cleaners, dinner, valet, etc.). Junk mail is a free viable source to get exposure to your website; tape your business card to postage-paid postcards located in magazines. If you are anything like me, you are constantly receiving pre-approved credit card applications; send a few in the postage-paid envelopes. Include a few if you mail your bills, etc.. Real people open this mail, do you think they may be interested in making an extra income or even replacing their current jobs; absolutely. Most neighborhood businesses will allow you to set up your business cards at their establishment. You can purchase the plastic business card holders at your local office supply (10 for about $10). Free Classified Ads can be another source, however, they are not as reliable as the above mentioned methods and require more work to effectively advertise but if your advertising budget is limited, then this is the avenue. Go to any search engine and enter a search for free classifieds. As mentioned, it is time consuming so only select high traffic sites and add to them daily until you have built a list. 5. Forums and Message Boards are a couple of other free resources. I suggest you set up a free email account to use for these as you may get a lot of responses and offers. Enter a search engine search for this as well.
There are a couple other resources I recently start using so I am not sure of their reliability. I make a practice of only suggesting opportunities and resources that have proven successful in my portfolio. If they prove resourceful, I will post those as well.
